YOU MATTER MINISTRIES MISSION
Our purpose and mission is to minister to those who are homeless and hurting by preaching The Good News of Jesus Christ, offering prayer, providing meals, hygiene packs, and when possible, a clean change of clothing.
“For we do not preach ourselves, but Christ Jesus the Lord, and ourselves your bondservants for Jesus’ sake.” II Cor. 4:5
OUR BELIEFS
ABOUT THE BIBLE: We believe the Bible to be the inspired, infallible, authoritative, inerrant Word of God (II Tim. 3:15-17; II Peter 1:21).
ABOUT GOD: We believe there is one God, eternally existent in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit (Genesis 1:1; Deut. 6:4; Matthew 28:19; John 10:30).
ABOUT JESUS: We believe in the deity of Jesus Christ (John 10:33); His virgin birth (Isaiah 7:14; Matthew 1:23; Luke 1:34-35); His sinless life (Hebrews 4:15, 7:26); His miracles (John 2:11); His vicarious and atoning death (I Cor. 15:3; Ephesians 1:7; Hebrews 2:9); His resurrection (John 11:25; I Cor. 15:4); His ascension to the right hand of the Father (Mark 16:19); and His personal return to earth in power and glory (Acts 1:11; Revelation 19:11-16).
ABOUT THE HOLY SPIRIT: We believe in the absolute necessity of regeneration by the Holy Spirit for salvation because of the exceeding sinfulness of human nature, and that all are justified on the single ground of faith in the shed blood of Christ, and that only by God's grace, through faith alone, are we saved (John 3:16-19, 5:24; Romans 3:23, 5:8-9; Ephesians 2:8-10; Titus 3:5).
OUR BELIEFS CONTINUED...
ABOUT LIFE AFTER DEATH: We believe in the resurrection of both the saved and the lost: they that are saved unto the resurrection of life, and they that are not unto the resurrection of damnation (John 5:28-29).
ABOUT BAPTISM: We believe that God's grace extends to ALL people - regardless of one's past. Baptism is a powerful reminder that Jesus's shed blood on the cross washes away our sins, fills us with the Holy Spirit that we may live new lives (Matthew 28:19-20; Acts 2:38-41; Romans 6:4).
WE BELIEVE in the spiritual unity of believers in our Lord Jesus Christ (Romans 8:9; 1 Cor. 12:12-13; Galatians 3:26-28).
WE BELIEVE in the present ministry of the Holy Spirit by Whose indwelling the Christian is enabled to live a godly life (Romans 8:13- 14; 1 Cor. 3:16, 6:19-20; Ephesians 4:30, 5:18).
LEADERSHIP

We believe that God loves and cares for everyone and that He offers hope and a new life to anyone who will put their trust in Him. Through demonstrating Christ's love, it is our sincerest desire that all would come to realize how much they matter to Jesus and, ultimately, that Jesus will matter to them.
"Care for the flock that God has entrusted to you. Watch over it willingly, not grudgingly-not for what you will get out of it, but because you are eager to serve God. Don't lord it over the people assigned to your care, but lead them by your own good example." I Peter 5:2-3
